Hookes (above).<br>Research of the score book has shown that PGH Fender scored his hundred from between 40 and 46 balls.He contributed 113 to an unfinished sixth-wicket partnership of 171 in 42 minutes with HA Peach.<br>EB Alletson (Nottinghamshire) scored 189 out of 227 runs in 90 minutes against Sussex at Hove in 1911. It has been estimated that his last 139 runs took 37 minutes.
